But just don’t take their word for it. Have a read of some genuine reviews from some of their many happy customers.
“We headed here for takeout from the reviews here and can say they were all truly justified. Ordered four mains, each came with a generous serving of rice. Complimentary poppadum’s too. We’d ordered Goan fish curry, lamb rogan josh, chicken tikka masala and beef vindaloo- all very, very good. They have spice levels to choose from mild to super spicy. But we were fine with hot and ‘Indian hot’. Each main priced at under $20. Great dinner,” says Anabee in a TripAdvisor Review.
“Always so great to eat here. Clean and tidy layout with a warm ambiance. Serve is friendly and competent. Food is the best curry in town and so affordable. We try different curries each time and have never had one that wasn’t fantastic. Parking is easier than so many other restaurants and that’s a bonus too,” comments TripAdvisor user Baystyle in a five-star review.
“My husband and I had dinner with Tauranga friends, who are frequent visitors to this restaurant. The service was prompt, the staff are very friendly, and the food is delicious. The mixed platter for 2 for entree was amazing. We had the Prawn Special, Scallops Special, Goat Curry, Cheese Naan – all great, with leftovers to take home! It has either BYO or you can buy drinks there – good to have a choice. We recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good Indian food,” says 190karlynb on TripAdvisor.
“We take great pride in our work and always make the extra effort so that every customer has an enjoyable meal in our clean and relaxing environment,” adds Aryal.
